about symmetry symmetry about explores various aspects of symmetry, yet they may not necessarily be symmetrical. The footage ranges from the physicist Lee Smolin diagramming and discussing his thoughts on symmetry, including supersymmetry, to people talking about how they eat corn on the cob (as they are eatting it), to the placement of artwork in a private collector’s home, to many other scenarios.

The two-channel video installation is rear projected into a hallway-like space. The images are shown directly across from each other (one channel per side). Both channels are synchronized and edited in a conveyor belt-like motion from right to left. When installed they will appear to be running in opposite directions, when in fact will be going in the same direction.
